1. What does it mean to load offers to my card?

You load an offer to your card if you like it and want to use it. To load an offer simply click the large blue “Load It” button and you’re good to go!

2. Why do I need to load offers to my card?

Loading offers to your card allows us to verify that you’ve shopped with the merchant offering the deal. Then we can pay out your savings automatically.

3. How do I get my rebate?

Tell us how to pay you by entering the credit card number of the account you’d like your savings sent to. The rebate appears as a credit on your statement within 5-7 days after the qualifying purchase is made.

4. How do I know my rebate is coming?

After your first qualifying purchase is made we’ll send you an email confirming the purchase and letting you know your rebate is on its way!

5. I made my purchase, so where’s my rebate? Isn’t it supposed to be automatic?

A statement credit on your card account will be issued generally within 5 business days after your qualifying purchase, but may take up to 2 billing cycles to post to your account. It's automatic because it's credited directly to your card without you having to do anything.

6. Do offers apply for in-store purchases or online only?

You can see the specific terms for each offer by clicking on the "See details" link.

7. I have several cards connected to Offermatic. How do I know which one the offer has been loaded to?

By loading the offer to one connected card you can use any connected card to make your qualifying purchase. We're able to verify purchases on any card you've connected to Offermatic.

8. What’s an automatic rebate? Is it like a gift card?

No. An automatic rebate is a statement credit that we apply to the debit or credit card of your choice after you make a qualifying purchase.

9. I've connected my PayPal account to Offermatic. Can I make a qualifying purchase on one of the cards I have connected to my PayPal account?

If the card is also connected to Offermatic--yes. If it is only connected to PayPal, then no. You need to connect the card to Offermatic as well.

10. How long will it take for my automatic rebate to be credited to my account?

It takes up to 30 days after your qualifying purchase for your savings to be posted to your statement.

11. What if one of the stores I have an offer at doesn't accept credit cards?

You can still receive your savings automatically if the store accepts debit cards and you connect a debit card to Offermatic. If you don't receive your rebate automatically you can contact us and we'll look into it!
back to top Connecting a card

1. I can see my card issuer or bank is supported by Offermatic, but I’m having trouble entering it.

Make sure you are entering your username, password, and other information accurately by logging in to your online card account or bank directly. If you are still having issues, contact us with the following information:
  • Name of your card issuer or bank
  • Your card issuer or bank’s URL (www.chase.com, for example)
  • The specific error messages you receive trying to add the account
  • Any extra security requirements your card issuer or bank has to authorize login, such as additional security questions

2. I’m trying to connect a card but I’m having issues with additional security questions.

If you are connecting a card and have issues with additional security questions or answers, try the following:
  • If you’ve forgotten the answers, you should log into your online card account or bank’s website, or call to retrieve the questions and answers. Remember, they must match exactly.
  • For some financial institutions, security questions and answers need to be in the exact same order as they are listed on the instituion’s website.
  • For some financial institutions, answers may be case-sensitive. So if your answer is “Pet,” entering “pet” may not work.

3. How do I enter my card/bank name?

Just start typing the name of your card issuer or bank and we will show you a list of card issuers and banks based on the first letters you type. If you can’t find your card issuer or bank, make sure your spelling is correct. Still not seeing it? Try another keyword (e.g. “Chase” instead of “the Chase Bank”).

4. I have several results when enter my card/bank name. How do I know which one is my card?

Try checking your card or a recent statement to find your specific issuer. If you’re really not sure which card issuer is yours, try the top result under “Most Popular Results.”

5. I can’t find my card.

We are currently working with over 5,000 card issuers in the U.S., but we don’t support international cards yet. If you have a PayPal account, you can try registering with that account. Still having trouble? Shoot us an email at with your Offermatic username, your bank’s name, and your bank’s URL and we’ll look into it!

6. What password is required to connect a card?

The same password you use to log in to your online card account or bank.

7. Why should I add more than one card?

When we have a more complete view of your purchase history we’re able to send you more relevant offers. Adding multiple cards gives us a better idea of what you like, so we can help you save money on those things!

1. Is Offermatic a scam? Why do I have to log in to my online card issuer? That’s weird!

Hey, we hear you. It’s a bit out of the ordinary. But then again, so is our service. Your purchase history is how we help you save on the things you actually want.

We wish we were mind-readers, but we’re not. We all have Offermatic accounts too, and that’s why Offermatic uses 256-bit SSL EV bank-grade encryption and SAS 70 Type II secure data centers. Our savings-matching technology can only read your purchase history to find you amazing offers--it can’t access your account in any other way.

We’d be happy to put your mind at ease if you have any additional questions. You can learn more (link here to the security page) here, or contact us.

7. What if I delete my account? Do you keep my bank login information?

Absolutely not. If you delete your account, ALL information related to that account would be deleted.
